Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with others to design, implement complex projects as a part of a trading platform .
- Developing solutions to complex technical challenges while coding, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting the systems you develop.
- Recommending technologies and tools that improve the efficiency and quality of systems and development processes.
- Collaborate with the development team, Quality Assurance, and Support
Must have
- BS/BA or higher degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other quantitative related degree
- 5+ years software development experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and team collaboration skills.
- Strong Java skills – Spring Boot, REST API.
- Experience working with streaming data using Kafka or other messaging queue platforms.
- Good database and SQL skills – Ability to understand and write complex SQL.
- Familiar in deploying and troubleshooting on Linux environments
- Eager to learn on the spot
Nice to have
- Business knowledge in Equities, Futures, or Options.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with a scripting language such as python or JavaScript.
