Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable databases for internal web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Develop and maintain APIs for front-end developers, facilitating seamless integration and communication between systems.
- Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts in Python to migrate business data from various software vendors into Google BigQuery.
- Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Research and identify the most suitable APIs to collect specific business data and integrate them effectively into our systems.
- Set up and maintain data pipelines to Google BigQuery, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in web development and cloud technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, specifically with extensive Shopify API integration and development.
- Strong experience in database design and management, preferably with experience in cloud-hosted environments.
- Proficient in creating and managing ETL processes, with a focus on Python scripting.
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and implement technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
