Responsibilities
– Assist in conducting security assessments and penetration testing of applications.
– Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities in applications.
– Help develop and implement security solutions to mitigate identified risks.
– Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
– Participate in security incident response activities.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
– Assist in the creation and maintenance of security documentation and reports.
Qualifications
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Basic understanding of application security principles and practices.
– Familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or similar.
– Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
– Knowledge of SDLC.
– Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
– Prior experience with security assessments or penetration testing
– Understanding of web and mobile application security.
– Experience in bug bounty.
– Understanding of SAST/DAST/SCA Tools
1 to 3 years of relevant experience
– Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH.
